Enrollment Confirmation: Your enrollment in a class is considered confirmed upon the receipt of full payment for your selected class. However, it is subject to the availability of positions at the time of payment.

Class Details
Changes to Class Details: On the off chance that we will need to change the class The Food School will make every effort to provide you with advance notice and sufficient time to accommodate the adjustments.

Attendance Responsibility
Attendance Expectations: Participants are expected to attend the class they have booked. While class email reminders are sent as a courtesy, it is the sole responsibility of participants to ensure their own attendance and punctuality.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Prior to booking and making payment for a class with The Food School, we strongly encourage you to thoroughly read and familiarise yourself with our cancellation and refund policy. It is important to understand the terms and conditions governing cancellations and potential refunds.

Commitment and Reservation
Class Reservation: When you book a class with The Food School, you enter into a commitment where The Food School reserves a place for you in the chosen class. By doing so, you express your intention to attend and participate in that specific class.

Acknowledgment of Terms
Acceptance of Terms: By completing the booking and payment process for a class at The Food School, you confirm that you have thoroughly read, understood and accepted all the terms, conditions, and policies outlined by The Food School.. This signifies your agreement to abide by the rules and regulations established by The Food School.

Safety and Participant Conduct
At The Food School, your safety is our priority during our classes. However, it’s important to recognise that engaging in culinary activities involves the use of cooking appliances and utensils, which may present inherent risks.

Acknowledging Risks:
By attending a class at The Food School and completing the payment process, you acknowledge and assume the risks associated with food preparation and cooking. To the extent permitted by law, you release The Food School from any liability arising from damage, harm, or injury incurred during your attendance and participation.

Promoting Responsible Behavior:
If you choose to consume alcohol during a class, we urge you to arrange alternative transportation to ensure your safety and that of others.

Expectations of Conduct:
Participants understand they are a guest of The Food School and as such we can request any participant to leave if we feel their behaviour is disruptive, dangerous or harmful.

Class Cancellation and Refund Guidelines
Non-Refundable Classes: Kindly note that classes and gift vouchers are non-refundable; however, there may be options for transferability based on specific terms and conditions.

Change of Mind and Attendance:

While we acknowledge your rights under applicable consumer laws, The Food School is unable to provide a full refund in the event of a change of mind or if you are unable to attend the class due to reasons such as illness or injury.
Transfer Policy: If you find yourself unable to attend your scheduled class and notify The Food School at least 10 days prior to the class, you have the following options:
Transfer your booking to another available class, with a transfer fee of $15 per person, per booking. Transfer your booking to another individual by providing their name, contact details, and dietary requirements via email.

Short Notice Cancellation:

If you are unable to provide the required minimum of 10 days’ notice before your scheduled class, your booking becomes non-transferable, and any deposits made will be forfeited. However, you may still transfer your booking to another person by providing their name, contact details, and dietary requirements via email.
