Learning in person vs online

In a world that is disconnecting as quickly as it’s connecting, learning in person is an incredibly important part of education and personal growth. Being able to interact directly with teachers, peers, and mentors can help you take in and understand new concepts more quickly and deeply than if you were to learn in an online or remote capacity. In-person learning also allows for a more collaborative and supportive environment, which can provide a more comfortable atmosphere for learning and increase engagement with the material.

In-person learning also provides a more immersive experience, as it allows for direct access to activities and materials that may not be available online. Experiencing activities first-hand, things like smelling the sauce, or the ripeness of the fermentation and the touch of the bread.  These sensory skills help you to develop better awareness and confidence.

Learning in person, is an invaluable experience that can help build essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity. It can also foster an appreciation for the subject matter that can be difficult to achieve in the virtual world. As such, it is important to take advantage of any opportunities to learn in-person in order to gain a more complete understanding of the material and make the most of the educational experience.
